Stock Market Book Review: Market Wizards

If you like my previous book review on Payback time, perhaps you will like this post.

Do you believe reading successful traders' stories will make you more success? May be. Experts always told us that we can advance further by learning how others success in doing the same thing. However, in reality, it may not always the case.

Market Wizards: Interview With Top Traders, written by Jack Schwager, is one of the best selling classics that delves into some of the most successful wall-street traders minds.

A total of 16 traders interviewed and each of them have their on trading techniques. Amazingly, many of the traders interviewed have opposing views on some techniques, some proved one method won't work but another trader uses the same method to make the killing.

I remember a young and very successful Hong Kong fund manager using this book as a guideline in his trading principle and motivation. He will time himself to read this book once he is facing trading problem and minimum once every year. Before he setup his investment company, he read this book more than 5 times. Perhaps he found the gem inside this book and he able to make a lot of money now.

The New Market Wizards? I haven't read this book.

I personally have read it once and I was impressed with William O'Neal trading method. But I found his method doesn't really work well for me, compare to my current methods, so the other traders in the book. It is okay anyway. In overall, I've so much fun reading the story of each success trader. They are just great traders and made a lot of fortunes from the stock market.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who is involved in the stock market. This is one of the very important books for anyone who wants to learn about trading or investing. Good luck.
