The counters fall under my monitoring list including BREM, DAIMAN, EUPE, GOB, MATRIX, MALTON, MKLAND, KSL, PLENITU, PJDEV, UOADEV, TROP, TAMBUN, SBCCORP, L&G and so on.
Why these counters?
It's very simple. Basically the lands these companies holding are worth more than their share prices. Once there is an article and report released by analyst or author on newspaper to uncover these gems which is heavily undervalue, the investors came to realize and invest on them.
In fact, these counters' prices have been on uptrend since the past few years. The early birds have been making a lot of money for the past few years from just holding these counters. Of course, some of them outperforming like MATRIX and TAMBUN, and some of them just came up recently i.e. BREM and TROP.
Well, I think generally the investors have come to know about these counters thus we are not going to talk about individual counter. We are more concern about whether the theme or uptrend will be ongoing. As long as the uptrend is still ongoing, any counter we invest will be still stand a chance to shine if they are continuing to outperform.
In my opinion, the recent price drop will be just temporary and I'm sure it's just a minor correction as the overall uptrend is still intact. Fundamental wise, the transactions are started to reduce and new condo projects started to have the sign of oversupply in the major cities.
However, for the counters having massive lands in Penang and Selangor, they may have a better chance to shine ahead of the rests. I'm not looking good at Iskandar for the time being, due to possible of oversupply and land title. issues
